How we build them.
Framing that outlasts the weather
Every shed starts with 2×4 studs set 16 inches on center and double top plates on every wall — the same framing schedule used in the houses we build beside. The floor system is fully pressure-treated and rated for ground contact, so the bottom of the building lasts as long as the top.
Materials we'd put on our own barns
T1-11 Duratamp siding, Miratech trim, and 12×12 gable vents come standard — no budget-grade substitutions. The combination holds paint, sheds water, and breathes right through Upstate New York's freeze–thaw swings.
Finished like a building, not a box
Doors hung square, trim mitered tight, and a final coat inspected before anything leaves the lot. If a detail wouldn't pass on a house, it doesn't pass on a shed.
